Spend your summer jollies here and you’ll be looking for any excuse to stay. The Corfu Panorama Resort, formally the Sidari Village is a great family-friendly complex set out in a cluster of pastel-painted buildings terraced into the hillside. A bunch of fab facilities, including a mini market and a regular shuttle bus to ferry you around the grounds, will make sure you have everything at your fingertips. And with all the local attractions a beach ball's throw away, you’re sure to love the Corfu Panorama Resort.

Good for Drinks, Poor for Food

If you like drinking, it's ideal, but the food is extremely poor and we had to eat out for every meal. After speaking to others there, they agreed, but many couldn't aford to eat out and had to make do. there are no snacks at the poolside as stated, just some horrid sandwiches.

What was the food like then that was so bad? Was is noisy at night? Was there anything else that spoilt the enjoyment of your holiday? If you went with children, was the buffet suitable for them? Many thanks, Rachel (Bristol)

The hotel itself was nice enough and the drinks you could get were also good. However, the food in the restaurant was really poor, it was like a school canteen, everyone jossling each other and the food wasnt good at all, my 12 year old, wouldnt eat anything. I think if you enjoy salad your ok! Also the snack bar by the pool only served sausage roll type snacks and ice cream, no chips or toasties or anything you would expect in a snack. The good news is that about 5 minutes walk away is a lovely Greek run bar (which serves snacks at a reasonable price). The entertainment finishes at 11pm and was ok, not too noisy. I would put a request in for your room though and say you want a poolside room, (there are not that many) and the rest are up a steep hill which you have to use the hotel minibus for as its sooooo steep! On the whole we enjoyed the holiday, but in hindsight we should have gone self catering as we had a kitchen and there are plenty of supermarkets.

All inclusive holiday

My husband and I took our 2 grand daughters aged 17 and 14 on this all inclusive holiday. We had a lovely appartment type room with 2 single beds upstairs with stairs and balcony type room and 2 beds downstairs and bathroom and a kitchen with microwave and fridge although we didn't intend eating in the room. All facilities were there, it was lovely and spacious we had a balcony and table and chairs overlooking a well kept lawn area and also a view of the pool. The rooms were kept very clean throughout our stay and flowers put on the kitchen table every few days. The restaurant was very clean and the food presented very nicely not an awful lot of selection but the staff and manager were all very obliging to everyone and the food was cooked to our satisfaction I don't think anyone could complain about any of the food presented. The animation team were really trying hard to get people to join in their activities but were having a hard time and the entertainment in the evenings were not really very good (kids entertainment same as all other places) and also the all inclusive bar closed at 11pm and you could go the club next door where you had to pay for drinks! The Hotel is situated in a nice place but some of the apartments are on the hillside of the resort, but there is a transport bus there all the time which takes you up to your apartment and brings you back down when you want to. The Sidari village is about 5 minutes walk which many people did in the evenings where it is quite lively with the bars putting on tribute shows all free of charge as long as you drink in the bar (Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart, Lady Gaga, Cher to name but a few) and we had a really good Greek evening in the 'Sea Breeze' restaurant , lovely food and many of the restaurants back on to the beach where you can sit and have a drink or meal overlooking the sea, and a few bars actually on the beach. A few shops down the main street, not a lot to do in the village during the day time but we found the resort very relaxing and the hotel very good. Would recommend for a fairly quiet holiday, not too noisy resort but entertainment in the hotel could be better but we still all enjoyed the holiday.
