The well looked after Ekati Apartments are something else. Bathed in Grecian sunshine, they are set amongst lovely gardens overlooking the shimmering sea. Why not relax around the mosaic-style terrace, plunge in the cooling pool, or pop down the poolside stairs and step straight onto the golden sands of Stalis beach. Come evening time, the Ekati Apartments’ great location gives you a fab choice of international bars and restaurants right on your doorstep.

basic but great views

first impressions were we had stepped back in time - room very basic and dark once we opened shutters it was better didnt really want to stay in room but once we settled in it was fine. we had rooms next to pool and what a view every morning. pool and sea on doorstep would go back but only for location and certainly not for anything else

great time had here

we stayed here from 6th sep - 13 sep 2011. we had room with 2 balconys, pool at the bottom overlooking the beach, room was big and basic, everything you need is close by, shops bars resteraunts etc, you cant go wrong here, if you want to see more of the island then hire quad or bike or car, but take your licence with you as you need it, and they are quite cheap to hire. all in all we had great time here and weather was fantastic, 30+ every day, camelot resteraunt accross the road do a great breakfast, best i have ever had anywhere on holiday. we will be comong back here next year.

Had a wondeful time at the Ekati. Great Location, Great people and great holiday Rep called Lloyd. Thoroughly recommend these apartments, basic but very clean and cared for. You will i'm sure have a great holiday here!!

On the way out to Crete our flight was delayed 5 hours which mean that we didn't arrive until around 7 am. On arrival we found out that our apartments had been allocated to someone else. It took until the Thursday to get into the rooms we'd booked, we had arrived on Tuesday. The rooms we reasonably clean and the housekeepers did a good job keeping them that way. Rooms on the ground floor and in basement areas have a slight cockroach problem which we experienced for the first few days, latterly we had apartments on the first floor with no insect problem. Ekati apartments are in a good location close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars, the sea, car hire, beaure de change, not many cash machines nearby. Paradise Apartments, about 4 minute walk away has a friendly atmosphere, pool, pool table, quiz night, friendly owners and staff.

Great value, great location

Great apartments, right on the beach, a pool that we often had to ourselves. Basic but beautifully kept by a hardworking receptionist/maid/gardener/jack of all trades. Main road a bit dangerous, too many scooters and quad bikes to avoid.

What a view

I love these apartments, although they are basic and do not have the most comfortable of beds. They are in a fabulous position right on the beach and close to all amenities. The couple who look after the Ekati are friendly and work very hard keeping it clean.

Lovely Place

We loved these apartments, what stunning views over the Cretan Sea. Close to a multitude of restaurants, very central. can't wait to return on 8/6/2010.

we stayed here in july 2010 the location is not central as it is more near malia than stalis it is not the ideal location when you have children we had ants in our room an overgrown tree which you had to dodge when you went back to your room never saw the rep as they didnt to come anywhere near my family and i have been travelling to stalis in crete for 14 years now and i hate to say this is the first place we have stayed at that we would not stay at again or recommend
