Just come back from what was my 3rd visit to the anmaria and as i use these websites i feel i should write a review so here goes. Arrived about midnight to be met by night watchman who gave us our room keys felt glad it was for a pool view as the back of the hotel does not offer very good views. the room was clean and ready for us to use and as i expected it to be next morning we went down for breakfast this was better than my memory told me it would be, the usual bacon eggs sausage beanz ect however i still cant work out chips for breakfast. pleanty of cornflakes ect as well as friut and pastries so all in all good start to the day. the pool is as you see in the brochere large cold and the one fault no shallow end my grandson who can swim a bit would not go in without armbands as he couldnt touch the bottom he is 10 years old so not that young or small. there is a small beach at the bottom of the hotel grounds though i wouldnt recommend it. i use macronicsis beach or the louder nissi beach about 3km away. bus stop outside hotel 1 euro each way or taxi office in hotel car park 8 euros each way. the dinner was as i remembered, plenty to choose from hot and tasty whilst i didnt like every dish there was always something i could eat again. if im being honest we could have had a extra veg option as there was usually only 1 or 2 per night i put about a stone on in two weeks say no more! ENTERTAINMENT the 1 big let down if you like thomas cook reps people who cant really sing only bother with the large family groups then fine, however i want more from the hotel at night. t/c entertainment team is ok during the day round the pool but on a night i want professional entertainment standard not bingo and a reps show every night. on the whole me and my wife enjoyed taking our grandson to cyprus and to the anmaria. would i go back maybe only because the entertainment was so poor the hotel position is second to none the food is good rooms are clean, bar is expensive though 2.50 euro for a coke, beer, water yet 3 euro for a large.
