Fantastic

Best family holiday we have ever had. It was our first all inclusive holiday and we found the food to be delicious, fresh, to suit all tastes, (we have a fussy child), plentiful all day and night, the drinks also with not just alcoholic but fresh smoothie juices etc also. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. From the moment we landed we felt relaxed. My husband and children made full use of the water sports, at night after our meal we were too tired for the entertainment, but that looked good also. Our children are quite young 8 and 10 but if you have teenagers the Rock Cafe changes into a disco for them at night. If I have to say anything bad, you are a long way from a town, it is a good drive from the front gate to the hotel, this didn't bother us but if you are the type that likes to wander off resort it may bother you. However you can walk for miles along the beach and there are other hotels and shops (beach huts) if you want to explore and of course the organised trips. We only did the boat trip, don't be put off by the loud music on the bus after that it was the best laugh we had had in a long time a real day to remember. We would go back any day.

Water sports (30/09/2011)

Is there enough water sports equipment to go round? I went to a different resort last year, which was lovely, but just not enough water sports equipment. Very disappointing. We loved the Dom Rep and want to go back next year, but want to sail, kayak etc.

Water Sports (04/10/2011)

Yes we found that there was plenty to go around, we were unable to use any of the watersports at first as some bad weather has been through of shore and left us with too much wind, so the hotel is quite good about safety. My Husband and children loved it and were out every day although it could still be pretty choppy. In general, this was our first trip to the Carribean and since we have been to Jamaica and Mexico but this hotel and holiday still stands out as fantastic we couldn't fault it and would definitely go back.
