Brilliant!

Had a wonderful holiday, the resort was amazing, it had everything you could want and need. The staff were so polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were big and always immaculately cleaned everyday. Lots of different food to try, highly recommend the Asia house. Didnt want to come home, if you are thinking of Egypt, definitely go to this hotel.

Dreams Beach Resort

Stayed here a few years ago and although hotel is now starting to look a bit dated (in comparison to some of the newest hotels) it is one of the older hotels in Sharm. Everyone we met were either returning guests or said they would definitely be coming back to this resort. Food was ok - plently to choose from and loads of it. Something for everyone - no-one would starve at his hotel. Staff couldn't be nicer - they all work so hard to make your holiday special. Very positive note was that no-one had stomach upsets - listening to passengers on the return flight most had been ill and this had ruined their holidays and incurred costly GP bill. Dreams Beach and sister hotel Dreams Vacation all had hand sanitisers at each restaurent entrance - this no doubt helped. Animation team worked hard too - kids club was well attended and the evening shows went down well. Need to shop around for trips - local guy in hotel reception arranges submarine trips - usually £10 cheaper per adult £5 cheaper per child in comparison to what the rep charges. Likewise the locals come round the pools with quads/camels/glass bottom boat trips that are all cheaper. Hotel is out of town but a regular free shuttle bus to Naama operates. Beds comfy and everything is spotless. Hotel is great for adult families and all the young ones went down the town to party at the clubs - but this applies to every young person who holidys in Sharm -Booked through Direct Holidays - tickets arrived on time etc and had no problem with this company. Compared to Thomsons it was almost 50% cheaper at the time of booking. Only gripe I have was Thomas Cook Airlines as there was no in - flight entertainment on board 5.30 hours is a long time to sit . According to cabin crew they have no in flight entertainment on short haul flights i.e any flight under 6 hours. The cabin crew did sell magazines £2.99 a pack and PSP's with pre-loaded films were avilable to hire for £7.50- bit steep if you have couple of kids to keep entertained!!!!! Can't use any wifi gadgets on board - so you have been warned. I would definitely book with Direct Holiays again and return to this hotel - but dunno if I would fly with Thomas Cook due to the lack of in flight entertainment. We also had over a 3 hour delay on our retun journery- rep at airport legged it and we were all left with no explanation whatsoever - we were handed a letter once we were ready to board the plane- not very good customer service at all.
