Just back from a week's stay at these apts. Good, clean and cheap holiday on half board. Food was good, but beware some people on all-incl. over filling plates so high they were like Mount Everest! Needless to say there was a lot of food wasted. Good choice though with soup or salad starters and main course always 3 or 4 choices of chicken beef or pork with either chips or rice and pasta. Pudding was always creme caramel, jelly, cake and profiteroles with a selection of ice cream to choose from. Entertainment was your usual Spanish Magic shows, parrot shows etc, but 100 mtrs from Europa Shopping Centre with selection of bars and restuarants - all of which are very quiet for this time of year and most have people outside egging you in! 657 steps down to beach but quicker and only E3 in a taxi which are fairly plentiful. Apartments themselves are basic, but deserve the 3 star rating from Direct Holidays. Only snag is there is no air conditioning and it does get very warm. A fan is provided but is not really enough. Flights were ok - just ok - we travelled with Aurela Airlines which Thomas Cook have chartered for the summer season to do the Glasgow Flight. There is no in-flight entertainment, and the captain and stewardesses do not speak very good English - in fact the captain did not speak the whole way there or back - a bit frustrating not knowing if we were expecting turbuence or knowing weather conditions when we landed etc. Thomas Cook provided a steward and stewardess though to deal with any problems. The only drawback and I say this as a nervous flyer - we waited an hour and a half to be served drinks on the way home - a bit long especially with the air conditioning above blowing out hot air. A good holiday though in a nice little place and we would most certainly return.
