This Vegas hotel screams fun, fun, fun all the way. Yes, Excalibur is a magical castle where, as soon as you step across the drawbridge, you are whisked back to the mythical times of King Arthur. The distinctive theme and the fab refurbished pools, huge games arcade and relaxing spa centre are a real treat. Top class entertainment will keep the whole family glued from the ‘Tournament of the Kings’ dinner show, to regular dragon battles by the moat and amazing magic shows for the little ones. Excalibur really is a mystical place.
This hotel is in a great location on the strip, you have easy access to the bus routes that take you to the 2 outlet centres each end of the strip and there is not as much commotion outside the hotel like the centre of the strip. This hotel is great value for money and only cost £60pp for the upgraded room, the hotel itself has a great food court and and an arcade fo the big kids and small ones too!!! you don't spend a great deal of time in your hotel, so for value and location I would recommend this hotel.

Although Las Vegas is not strictly intended for families my two sons (aged 7 and 2 respectively) enjoyed this holiday immensely. This is still the talk of the house when we discuss holidays. They were both amazed by the buildings and activities which are available for children in this what is classed as a gambling resort. Although the whole area is manufactured in the desert you are only a short drive from the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam which are landmarks I would recommend anyone to see. As to the hotel itself I'll start with the pools. These are second to none in the Excalibur with 4 pools purely for hotel guests. They have differing pools for adults to relax in and children to play in and the whole area is well supervised by trained lifeguards who take their duties seriously so you can rest assured you and your children are in safe hands. The hotel is magnificent in its majesty and made by kids feel as though they were one of the knights with King Arthur. The shows put on in the evening are second to none with feats that make the adults wonder how they did it and really bring the crowds into the action and fun. Once you pass the gaming floor which you are allowed through just as long as you don't try to play the tables with your children there (gaming laws are strict in Las Vegas) the rest of the hotel is a wonder. Despite being in the gaming capital of the world I never once gambled. Overall a 10/10 holiday which we hope to go on again soon.
