Holiday at faulty towers sep 2011

Spent 7 nights all inclusive at mimosa park. Could not fault the food a good variety of meals and all very tasty, but the bar staff were very rude and grumpy and everything was served in small plastic cups. Rooms very basic and severely need updating our room only had 2 sockets on of which the tele was plugged into, light fittings hanging off wall and the air con made such a banging noise was unbearable to have it on, the Walls were paper thin you could hear everything from next door room especially through what used to be a radio on the wall. Swimming pool wasn't the cleanest and tiles on bottom were cracked and broken, entertainment was shocking and even though we were all inclusive we spent most of our time outside the hotel. Would go back to Palma nova but DEFINATLY NOT stay at this hotel the locals call it faulty towers which is a very good description for it...

great holiday

this is our 2nd time at this hotel. last year we met 2 great couples and we have kept intouch with them. we had arranged to all book again this year we all had a great time as we did last year. my daughter and the grandchildren came as well as a couple of friends there were 15 of us. while we were there another couple asked if they could join us as we all seemed to be having a great time. that made 17 of us. rooms are spacious plenty of wardrobe space. cleaned every day. rooms are basic but you dont go on holiday to stay in your room. entertainers were brilliant working very to get people to join in. food was good kitchen staff always bringing hot food out and filling up trays when nearly empty. nice puds as well. pool is a good size and plenty of sunbeds. 5min to the beach. all shops on the doorstep. all staff at this hotel work very hard. would go back again

Certainly a Place to stay!

Having read the reviews, decided to make up my own mind so booked Mimosa. The hotel was just the ticket for a fabulous holiday. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and maid service every day. The food was very nice with lots of choice. Quite a lot of pork but other foods to choose from. The staff were very friendly in the restaurant and nothing was too much bother for them. We were all Inclusive so was nice to be able to get a drink from the bar in there along with food. The entertainment in the hotel was exceptional. Abbie, Dave and Lauren were certainly experienced entertainers not just with the children but with adults too. Dont normaly stay in the hotel on an evening but decided to as it was a good night every night. Also lots to do round the pool during the day. Also plenty of sunbeds even tho the hotel was busy with holiday makers. It was only a short walk to the lovely beach. Sunbeds were a little expensive 5.40 euros a day. All in all a fabulous holiday. On the down side, no kettle in the room so if you are planning on going and crave a cuppa in the morning when you wake take your own travel kettle lol!

I had read some reports before i went and was a bit worried about the hotel, the only complaint i had was that the rooms badly need updated, but they were cleaned daily, food was great, plenty to choose from, staff friendly, Thomas Cook staff fantastic, would defo go back!

Fawlty Towers Hotel

What a basic hotel this is! Rooms basic, food basic. Dress code of the guests in the dining room for evening meal was disgraceful. One lady thought that sitting down to eat her meal in a wet swimsuit with a towel wrapped round her was OK and nobody stopped her from entering. We had to even set and clear our own tables many times. We will not be returning to this hotel again.

I have stayed at this hotel on three occasions, in our opinion the hotel could do with a make over. The position of the hotel is good but the rooms have a problem with sound proofing which can be a problem if you have noisy neighbours !!
