Firstly was charged extra at the airport when checking in because there wasnt any seats next to each other unless we paid £15 for extra legroom seats, found this stupid as there was only two of us, must've been somewhere, but wasnt prepared to argue at 3AM, wasn't too impressed with the service from the guy on check-in. When we landed early morning in Menorca couldn't fault the service we recieved, quick transfers and checked in to the hotel room. Very small and basic but was all that we needed. The beach was literally down the stairs past the swimming pool, and had crystal clear waters, in here was where we spent most of our time. With so many beaches around the resort and buses taking you to Cuitidella with connections here to other towns worth seeing some spectular scenery- magnificent! Couldn't fault the all inclusive drinks, could what nearly almost what we wanted whenever up to 12, although served in plastic cups until dinnertime was easier this way meaning we could grab a drink from the far on the way to the beach. Weather varied, arrived in 30+c heat, and experienced rain and thunder at the end of the week, but was only late may, so not completely summer yet. Food was very basic at the hotel, lunch and dinner consisted of virtually the same, therefore we ate out alternate nights as the marine around the corner from the hotel hosts a variety of restaurants and bars all at a good price. Wasn't too impressed with the flight home though, paid for inflight meals and although asking where our was, we never recieved them, the hostess seemed to forget about us! All in all very good holiday.
