Hotel Bitacora, Playa de las Americas, Tenerife

0123

Choosing between two amazing swimming pools is about as stressful as it gets at Hotel Bitacora. A relaxed, sunny atmosphere surrounds this fantastic, well equipped hotel. Between plunging in the pool and snoozing on your lounger, try your hand at tennis or boules while the little ones splash safely in their own section of the pool, or pile on the fun with the slippery waterslide. Once the sun sets you can all enjoy the international shows, dancing and live music on offer at Hotel Bitacora, before flopping into comfy, cool beds.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel - spotlessly clean in all areas. Very busy at times with the usual fight for sunbeds. Food was freshly cooked and varied. We had a pool view room which was worth the extra cost. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. If I could complain about one thing it would be the extra charges the hotel add for things like fridge hire, kettle, etc. This hotel is in an ideal location for the Safari shopping centre and is surrounded by various bars and restaurants. Good atmosphere at the Dubliner and Jags is a good small Scottish bar and restaurant. In an ideal location, if you like walking, for walking to Los Christianos, Costa Adeje and San Eugenio.

Hotel slipping standards

This hotel is a 4 star, in my opinion should be reduced to a 3 star because they now do all inclusive which has bruoght the standard down. queues everywhere, reduced staffing so dont have to serve you quickly. everything to be paid at the reception and the mistakes they make is terrible.
