We have just returned to Scotland after what turned out to be a pretty great holiday. Although the rooms seemed pretty tired, they were comfortable and clean and when a repair was required it was dealt with immediately. Great selection of food always fresh and appealing. Staff very friendly and helpful (nothing was too much trouble) Facilities were first class. Live music nights were OK if you filled your ears with cotton wool. No excessive noise anywhere!... Very close to all amenities, no problems with language and everyone was polite. Good service from Natalie the Thomas Cook rep and excursions available not too expensive and very interesting.
Food quality in the resort itself was nothing special and meals could be pricey without care. Drinks are expensive, you can find some cheaper places in the resort, research is essential. A great holiday, didn't want to come home and will go back when we can.
