Fab Hotel just come back from our 3rd visit

Great hotel, don't think anyone would be dissapointed with the price you pay for a 5 star hotel. No cons to this hotel all plus` for me! To people asking if its ok for people with walking problems, ramps and lifts everywhere disability friendly as there were several people in wheelchairs.

Hotel Atlantis Belek

Wow, this is a fantastic hotel! Its hard to summarise the Atlantis, all I can say is after over 20 years of travelling abroad this is the only place we would entertain going back to. I will start with a negative though only a small one - the rooms are very basic but exceptionally clean with a mini bar that is stocked daily free of charge. The hotel itself is beautiful and goes on for ever and there is seated areas including hammocks to relax on wherever you turn so you can never be bored. The grounds of the hotel are exceptionally well kept and the cleanest I have ever walked through - as an example there are people in the pools cleaning them at 1am to ensure they are fresh for the next day. The food is outstanding just when you think they cannot surprise you they bring out a pool side BBQ or cook doughnuts in the open air. We looked at other hotels along the beach but we have to say that the Atlantis was by far the cleanest. The many pools are fabulous the water slides great for the kids they even do inflatable pool entertainment once a week in the main pool. The only thing we feel let the hotel down is the night time entertainment shows, though to be fair the entertainment team did their best, but they would benefit from external presenters to give a more varied show. The beach disco held every night (far enough away from the hotel not to be a nuisance) was great for the teenagers to hang out and completely safe as security at this hotel is great. This area was not just for teenagers though as their was also seating provided on grassed areas to the side so that families could sit and have a drink later on in the evening. I could go on for ever but I wont, I will just finish on saying that there are only approximately 150 British Guests in this hotel so you are a minority but dont listen to anyone that says the russians are rude - they do demand a little more but maybe thats why the standard of this hotel is so good, I personally never had any problems, the atmosphere at this hotel was excellent and most welcoming and friendly.

Atlantis Hotel (29/07/2011)

Hi to the person who posted the question regarding the Atlantis in Turkey … the hotel is fairly flat but does have a number of different levels with various pools restaurants spread over these. If you want to get around independently these could be an issue although there is lifts etc. hope this helps.

Hi, Thinking of booking for next year. Is there plenty of evening entertainment for kids aged 13 and 7? Do they have shows, kids clubs, gala nights, discos etc? Any replies appreciated. Thanks

Entertainment at the Atlantis Hotel and Resort (31/05/2011)

In response to the query regarding the Atlantis hotel in Belek, Turkey. There are shows at night although previously these were not so good and run purely by the entertainment team. There are mini disco’s on the central stage, there is also a disco on the beach nightly which teenagers often went down to this was completely safe as there is security on every hotel to stop other people going into. The hotel is fabulous and the only one we have ever returned to Kind regards Teresa Swift

Atlantis

The hotel complex itself is huge. We stayed in the annexe away from the main hotel which suited us fine. We overlooked the tennis courts and there were mostly families around us. Quite quiet. The hotel itself is 8 years old now and is beginning to show the wear of being so busy. Water park is 5-10mins walk from the hotel - and is worth a trip. The market is ok - usual stuff and not as challenging as other markets in Turkey. We booked through Direct Holidays and got a fantastic price. Other people paid 200+ more per person than us - if we had paid that, we would have been disappointed with what we found. Food is good - and the staff are helpful (except reception as they don't speak good English). Other residents, ie Russians, are less than friendly and barge and push at the bar, or in the restaurants.

Excellent Atlantis

Fantastic family holiday at the Atlantis. Set directly on the beach with excellent food and surroundings. Left the hotel once in 2 weeks as nothing much outside. Overall, highly recommended for families and beachlovers.
