Royal Asarlik Beach Hotel Review

Second time to Turkey, but 1st time in Gumbet. We preferred Bodrum and took the Dolmus there every other day. Beach fantastic, Bar Staff and Waiters excellent. Food could have had a bit more variety but eveything eaten was fab. Best Turkish Bath in town - go for the extra massage with Bronzing Oil - no sunburn and I STILL have my tan 4mths later.

not 5 *

Room not double room, view brick wall and trees onto back road. neighbours balcony joins. Hotel Opposite unkempt campsite. Food repetative and cold. Breakfast fight for the tables outside, and night time fight for tables inside as windy at times. Not enough inside eating area for people allocated in hotel. Long walks to rooms from lifts. Bar open 24 hours !!! Entertainment !!!none. Not for us, bad location, clean beach good thing going for it.Staff do not speak good english so if you have a problem tough.!

Shame about the food!

Good hotel, great location with a nice beach. Pool is far too small for the size of this hotel! It's almost impossible to get a sunbed but plenty on the beach. What let this place down was the food, it was repetitive and 2 of us ended up having to go to the doctor with really bad tummy upsets, while at the doctors we bumped into quite a few other guests from the hotel with the same problem. They put us on a drip and wanted to keep us in overnight but we settled for tablets as we didnt fancy staying there. The hotel is quite close to all shops and bars and plenty places to eat outside too. Chinese a la carte was ok but Turkish a la carte wasn't very nice as the food was very dry. Just be carefull what you eat at this hotel!

Royal Asarlik Beach Hotel review

From the minute we arrived at this hotel we were made to feel so welcome. The staff were very friendly and fell over themselves to make your holiday enjoyable. The location couldn't have been better, as it was located in a beautiful bay with its own private beach. There were lots of activities if you wanted that, and there were quiet areas if you didn't. The rooms were kept very clean at all times. The food was very good and the waiters and bar staff always had a smile for you. This hotel was excellent all round. Great holiday!
