Julian Forest Apartments, Icmeler, Turkey

0123

Escape the hustle and bustle and lose yourself in fabulous Turkey. Julian Forest Apartments are set in a tranquil location enjoying jaw-dropping views of the mountains and pine forest. These stylish, contemporary apartments are brightly furnished and make a great base. While away the hours by one of Julian Forest’s pools and let the little ones splash in their own pool or whizz down the waterslides as you take in the views. In the evenings, hang up your apron and head to the restaurant, enjoy the entertainment or hop on a dolmus and experience the vibrant centre of Icmeler.

This was our 1st visit 2 these Apartments and resort and we will defiantly be going again. Our 18yr old son came with us and he enjoyed it as much as we did, the entertainment during the day was outstanding, I can't really comment about the night time as we ventured out a lot. The rooms we're excellent with everything you needed, cleaners came in every day to clean. We found some great places 2 eat special mention 2 Richards and The Waterfall in Icmeler . If still there u must go on climbing equipment on beach best 10 lira ever spent. Also go to Talk of Town in Marmaris great night out. I can't praise this whole holiday enough, the only slight problem was the wasps but it didn't spoil our hols at all. I would like thank Gizem, Ozzy etc for fantastic service in rest/bar and special mention 2 Shrek, Ilhan and Efe on the entertainment side, they all made our hols that extra special.

Good for families

This was our first time to the Julian forest and can see why it gets such good reviews. We were joining our relations who were already staying there. It is ideal for families with a separate children's pool and another two pools one of which had slides. If you wanted a few beds together you had to get up about 6ish and stay on them until 8am otherwise your towels would be removed. The apartments have a flexi-dine option which means you pay a set price then you can chose either breakfast or lunch and then an evening meal, this works out quite good value for families. The Julian Forest is located right at the back of the resort but there is a regular (ish!!) Dolmus (small bus) that takes you to the centre for 1.5 tl, there is a small supermarket on-site with limited choice and unfortunately quite high prices, or approximately 15 minutes walk away there are two other supermarkets with a better choice and much cheaper. Icmeler centre is approximately 10 minutes on the dolmus bus. There is nightly entertainment which is family orientated. The apartments themselves are very well equipped (kettle, toaster, combi microwave, TV and air-con) and are cleaned regularly There is a weekly BBQ followed by a pool party. Icmeler itself has a good choice of restaurants, we liked the the Lighthouse (very good portions and very good quality ) Chaplin s Place (good pizzas) and the Love Boat (very good setting but prices slightly higher) Dia supermarket seemed to have the best value and choice (on the right when you got off the dolmus ) but if you want fruit go to the market or the fruit Shop. There are lots of clothes shops and plenty of jewellers. We would definitely stay in Icmeler again and if we were meeting our relatives then we would stay at the Julian Forest.

This is a very clean and well run hotel. We have stayed here 3 times and we are returning in 2010. The rooms are well maintained & very clean and nothing is to much trouble for the staff. Very quite area so just relax and enjoy, 10 / 10.

Julian Forest Apartments Review

These apartments are very pleasantly decorated and the hotel well run. All the facilities are good and the staff pleasant. The rooms are cleaned daily. The only downside is the location which is about 3miles outside of Icemeler although the bus terminus is outside the hotel and the service is good.

Julian Forest Apartments Review

The only downside for us was the fact that is was the furthest away from the centre of Icmeler although you could walk which took about 20 minutes - there was always a dolmus waiting-which is a very cheap way of travelling or taxi which you could haggle the fair - the staff were friendly rooms were spacious and immaculate although if i was going again with four I would upgrade to a 2 bed apartment as second bed in living area is a camp bed which after 2 weeks was a bit sore on your back !

Julian Forest Apartments Review

This was an allocation on arrival holiday. The hotel is very clean and well run. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. A well deserved 4* hotel ideal for any age group. The only downside is the location which is approx. 3miles outside of Icmeler although the dolmus stops is just outside the hotel and are very frequent and the journey is very pleasant. There is nothing much to do around the hotel so it is a bit inconvenient but if you like relaxing by the pool it would suit you. I couldn't fault the hotel itself in any way.
