DONT GO

holiday from hell with rude workers that seemed to discrimate the British. Food was shocking with no kids menu - spent all our spending money on food n drink to get through. My husband also caught a bug while we was there called Giadia, look it up, he lost 3 stone in 3 weeks that shows how dirty it was !

we have just returned from our family holiday, we wer very disapointed with the whole holiday we payed a fortune for the holiday, there wer no entertainment at night and there and there wer nothing for the children to do, we also had to pay for the children to play pool, which we thought should of been free, i also fell down the steps while the staff where hoseing them down, i reported it has i hurt my foot very bad, and the manager said there is nothing we can do, i said there were no wet floor sings down and they shouldnt ov been hosing the steps down while people where walking down them. he said there is nothing you can do its your own fault you fell down them. the manager woz very rude, i would not recomend anyone to stay at this resort it woz a holiday that we will never forget in a hurry

Better than anticipated

I have to admit that before I went to Sun Hill I didn't realise how hot it would be there or that our hotel would be on a huge hill. However, the location of the hotel looked over an amazing view of Gumbet during the day and at night, the staff were friendly, the entertainment was good, the trip to ephesus was amazing. I only have two main complaints to make, my first is that the living room had no air conditioning and if anyone who reads this wants to go to Sun Hill, I urge you not to book it through Thomas Cook because you may end up with a rep called Megan Neely, she was nice enough but she didn't know her left from her right and she was never at the hotel when you needed her. The night me and my family left the hotel, we were told that a mini bus would come and take us to the airport around 9:40 to 10:00pm however it didn't arive, we were waiting with another family there for about 3 hours. And she wasn't at the airport either.

Sun Hill Hotel (02/06/2011)

Just returned from a really enjoyable week in this hotel. It far outweighed our expectations. Food was of a very good quality, and different every evening. OK breakfast was the same most days, but plenty of choice. Loved the pool for chilling out, maid service every day, and ALL the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our first time in Turkey, and would go again. Our only one negative comment, and this is no fault of the hotel, is the night time noise. It comes up from below and its is LOUD and goes on till 4 in the morning.

Go There!

It was great, i loved it! it is good for kids and it has good food - it is mostly Turkish food. It has a nice big slide, good view, 100 steps to restaurant - it is good exercise! Good pool, great room, a mini shop and close a beach. Good entertainment - its a great holiday, go there!

Sunhill Suites Review

The pool was not clean and has left me and my family ill, there was not enough chemicals put into it. The food was good but very repetitive, chicken most nights. In my opinion I dont think that there was too many steps but the hill killed you every time you climbed up it. The one thing I do want to know is the name of the bar tender in the restaurant. Thanks.

All Inclusive

Sun Hill Suites Review

"My husband and I enjoyed this resort and hotel but we have 2 boys 7 and 1 1/2 and didnt think the hotel catered for this age group at all but we did make the best of it. The maid service and size of rooms however were excellent entertainment great for adults food ok but not much choice and as it is turkish food my kids wouldnt eat it but my husband and I enjoyed it its always nice to try the local cuisine. The markets anre great we went to a few but you do need to haggle a lot to get a good bargain."

Sun Hill Suites Review

The pool area entertainment and restaurant are all ideally positioned in the middle of the hill that the hotel is built upon. Would not be suitable for anyone who cannot walk up a lot of steps or hills. The food selection was pretty poor for an all inclusive and there wasn't much entertainment for an all inclusive. Miles awy from shops beach or pubs so be prepared to walk if you want to go out.
